The Instant Massive Structures mod is a mod that enables you to create huge buildings on the fly.
Currently it includes 26 different types of buildings that you can easily craft, including towers, jets, houses, water-slides, pyramids, boats, arenas, prisons and much more.
There’s the simple buildings like a small house or an enchanting room, and then there’s the larger stuff like the boat, the castle tower and the skyscraper.
The mod is great for those of you less interested in building, and more interested in exploring as it gives you the ability to easily and quickly set up a new base on the fly.
The various buildings are made by combining different blocks in different combinations which creates another block that you then simply put down on the ground. This will spawn a new building, ready for its new inhabitant.
To use this mod, you need to either install the standalone install (warning: it tries to get you to install a lot of extra stuff for your browers, so be wary) or install the Modloader version, both are found below.
This is me creating a skyscraper in less than 2 minutes:
First I’ll craft the block required:
Then I’ll find (or make) a suitable location for it:
Finally I just place my new block and a skyscraper will be made without further work on my part:

How to install the mod:
There are two ways to install this mod:
- Either download the installer and follow the onscreen instructions
OR
- Download and install Modloader
- Download the mod
- Open your minecraft.jar folder (in Windows it’s in “%appdata%\.minecraft\bin\”, if you use the vanilla launcher)
- Copy the mod from wherever you downloaded it from to the “mod” folder found in your “.minecraft” folder
- Enjoy your Instant Massive Structures Mod
