Backpack Mod for Minecraft 1.6.2

The Backpack Mod for Minecraft adds very useful backpacks to the game, in several sizes and with many options for recoloring.

It makes looting much easier, as you no longer have to worry about being able to carry all the loot you just found in that dungeon, or worry about having to make several trips just to get it all. With one or more backpacks in your inventory, you will have plenty of space for a lot of loot, minerals, food, torches and so on.

They are pretty simple to craft, either requiring normal leather or a new type of leather added by the mod, tanned leather.

This mod requires Minecraft Forge!

You can see the recipes required for the new leather, and the various backpacks, below:

In order to create tanned leather, first you need bound leather, which is made like this:

This is then made into tanned leather through a furnace like this:

Now you can use this tanned leather to create a big backpack with this pattern:

Or simply use normal leather for a little smaller backpack:

If you’re unhappy with the default color, simply change it like this:

Or maybe you made a small backpack from the beginning, and want to make it larger, then use this recipe:

There’s also special backpacks like the ender backpack that works like an ender chest:

Or the crafting backpacks, which is a more mobile version of the crating table (and the bigger version even has a bit of inventory room):
